Default A light at the end of my tunnel

With all the whining I have done over the past few days I thought I'd post something good.

We drove by the site where we are having our house built......and they broke ground!!!! We think they just did it today as the ground is quite soft and there was no snow. We typically visit every week or so. The lot over from us has their foundation poured....so ours will be done within days too. It is pretty exciting.

This is the link to the house plans. hopefully it works.

    We choose the elevation A

The link is not working like i would like it too,

We have taken a few people over to look at our dirt before the hole was dug up..It was amusing that we as a family on Christmas eve went to look at a pile of dirt.

I will try to get the link to work. Click on Kitchener Waterloo riverland at the bottom. Then click models, then click 36 nature collection and finally click raven

We are building in NW London, near Walmart and Old Navy.
With Bayhill Homes. They are a smaller builder, so they are all about customer service and detail.

Our house isn't on the website, since it's a custom build and they've never done it before.

we are doing 4 bedrooms. So we get the huge family room on the second floor.

Custom built, that must be fun. So you actually had a hand in the floor plan

We told them what we wanted. He brought us a design and then we tweaked the floorplan from there.

I had been through a few of their homes before, and they knew what I liked and disliked in those homes.

    Yes, we are having fun!

I really liked the Thomasfield homes. I fell in love with a house but the details would not work out. Woodstock was one of 2 places that they were building the model i wanted. The taxes were too high in woodstock so we started out search over.

My main goal was a 4 bedroom home and the rest is just gravy.
