my dd, almost 3 now, said practically nothing when she turned 2...i was concerned..almost took her to tyke talks last summer but, the last 4months she has went from unrecognizable babbling to words and sentences!!!...She is still talking in her own language and chooses when to 'use her words' but, when she does use words&sentences..wow...she is doing great!!!
My ds (1st child) talked from age 10 months on...full sentences by 15 months...etc...so, i *expected* the same from my dd. It's interesting and quite the lesson realizing how different each child is, even if they are siblings! As long as your child understands you it'll be okay....before you know it you'll forget why you were even concerned!
