I've been interested in these dolls for a while, and have been researching the nature tables!

    I have a few questions:
Are the Nature Table dolls part of the co-op?
How many kits do I have to order, can I just order 2-3 kits?

    Thanks!!!

I can't seem to find these "nature tables" you speak of, do you have a link to them?

We can apply the discount to any of the doll making supplies, like tubular guaze or doll neeles, as well, in groups of 6. This discount only applies to Amy's patterns and kits, and not on other artist goods, like Kathryn Sheenah or Tintangel patterns or kits.
I know that all items need to have a minimum of 6 total but each kit/item can vary in colour. For example, if you order 2 - 16" frienship doll kits, Siana orders 1 and I order 3 then we meet the minimum together but each of dolls (based on colour selection) may end up looking quite different just not in basic structure. If we do not meet the minimums on each style/design/item then we will not receive the discount on that item.

Siana please correct me if I'm not understanding this correctly but if we have say, an order of 8 of the same doll we will receive the discount without the need for fills, right?

OT but this concept is just too sweet!

An interesting additional service is our Dolly Holiday. Dolls in need of a rejuvenating vacation can be return for a nice therapeutic bath, and a full inspection of health. These vacations are free of charge for all dolls made by Amy until doll's human turns 12.

For an additional charge, we can do repairs and re-stuffing if the unthinkable happens. While away, your child will receive 2 post card letters from their traveling doll. Both cards will have pictures of the doll to assure the child that their special friend is OK and coming home soon. The last one will have a picture of the doll before they are sent home with their clean body, new hair style and such so that your child will have some time to adjust to any changes.

My Daughter once lost her beloved Lily and she was so broken hearted. It took Lily two weeks to get home, but while away she sent letter of her grand adventures and it really soothed my daughters piece of mind. She still tells tales of Lily's adventure.

The Nature Table Dolls are from Studio Tintangel, so they don't apply for the discount, but from my understanding they can be ordered anyway, so you can save on shipping. A friend of mine is planning on ordering the green dragon from the same producer.

Order as many kits as you want, as if there are any fills needed to get the discount, then I will post that.

Great, thanks for the replies Siana and MilkyMama. I will post my order soon, there's WAY to many options

MM: I found a thread in the MDC archives about Nature Tables. http://www.mothering.com/discussions.../t-245793.html

For me, I like the idea of having a little scene that changes with the seasons/holidays. Something my DD and I can build and take from, and learn.

I have a facination with Nature Tables as well, and perhaps someday we'll have one (I love those little nature table figures too!).

    Tentative order:

    16" Friendship Doll Kit - $26.00
    Gender: Boy
    Skin tone: Golden
    Hair: Brunette/Straight
    Eyes: Brown

UPGRADES: Pre-made Inner Head (for 16" Friendship Doll) - $10.00
    and pre-sewn body parts - $8.00

    Tools:
    5" Doll Making Needle $1.75

    Total Amount = $45.75 (-20%) + $1 coop fee = $37.60 before shipping and possible taxes.

Do you know if I would need the ballpoint machine needles if I'm ordering the pre-sewn body parts?

I don't know if you noticed but the DR coop on MDC was cancelled due to high shipping costs. Are you able to get a shipping estimate based on your order so we have an idea as to what the final costs will be? I think someone mentioned the STM cost was going to about $7-8 pp.

No, I haven't asked for an estimate. I should check out MDC Co-op forum and ask her. Thanks for the tip MM.

Also, a couple friends of mine have orders. I'd really like them to post here so I have a formal record. I'll ask them about it again.

Sorry I haven't looked at this thread before now. Are you going to extend the deadline in order to reach your minimums? If so I would like to order something for DD for an Xmas gift but need a day or two to make a decision. The discount applies to the friendship dolls only is that correct?

Yes, haven't made the minimums yet, so you can go ahead and put in your order, Leah.

Two friends of mine are putting in 3 friendship doll orders sometime today.
