    Question

Is this a London Mom's thing? or a bigger thing? or something you just decided?
I'll be curious to watch this thread, I might come, but it's also my daughters 3rd birthday tomorrow, so not sure.
Is it a bring your family's food, or potluck again?
    Sorry for the interrogation! LOL!

Hey Christy...............this group is for those who home school their children. I've been to Gibbons when the session was on during the summer before our move and I'm thinking of home schooling the twins for a bit until I feel ready to send them to a public school. I can get a curriculum from the Gov't and follow it right here at home.
Did I get that sorta right Siana?

This particular event is organized through A Different Drum which is a homeschooling community in the London and surrounding area. I am pretty sure it is open to all homeschooling families or those considering it as an option.

As far as I know it is a bring your own picnic event, there are a lot of families with unique diets so it can be difficult to accomodate everyone.

I will be there with my kiddos

    No problems scrappymom

girlsmum, if you're planning on sending the girls for public school later but want to HS for a while, yes, you can get the curriculum from the ON Ministry of Education and follow it.

forestenchanted, hope to see you there later today I know feministmama and rawmom are going to be there as well.

That was fun! The boys really enjoyed themselves, as did I. And everyone was really nice... it was great to be around all those kids and parents having a wonderful time. We'll have to make a point to go out to more Different Drum park days and get-togethers this year!

The picnic was fabulous! I didn't expect any planned games and events, so we were all pleasant surprised.
