    Default could it be chickenpox??

Ok Im starting to freak out inside. I know its not that big of a deal but I have pox when i was a teen and remember how painful they are!

Lo had the chickenpox vac at 14 months.

she was around chickenpox about 10 days ago, also an outbreak at the daycare right now.

she has had a mild cough since last week and monday started a nasty flemmy cough.

she has a low grade fever

and 3 DOTS ON HER FACE....

is this pox? how do you know? can she get them even tho she had the shot? someone told me if i stick her in a bath they will all appear if it is poxs...

well no vaccine is 100% and she could have a mild case. When I went to the dr. they told me they can't confirm whether I had chicken pox or not (?). I had them at 21 and mine were not bad.... hopefully your LO feels better soon!!

Unlikely because she was vaccinated so her risk is lower and also because the pox almost invariably starts with spots emerging on the trunk - back or stomach.

.......YES she can and will still get them, The shot Is to protect your inner organs from damage of the virus. And to help make the case of chicken pox mild. IF YOU GET THE SHOT YOU STILL GET THE CHICKEN POX...just a mild case.
Best shot ask your doctor when the shot is given. He/She can explain it better. Alot of people think oh my kids has had the shot he/she will not get them....SO not true

    put her in the bath.

If it's pox more will pop up, and you'll know for sure.

Either way, I wouldn't be terribly concerned.

They can get the pox even if they've had the vaccine. Vaccines aren't 100%. However, there is a very big likelihood that if it is indeed chickenpox, she will only have a mild case since she does have the vac.

Somethign else to hopefully ease your mind...the older you are when you get the pox, the chances are better that they are painful. Your DD is still young, so I really wouldn't worry too much about them being painful.

Don't take my word for it though, I'm no expert.
    Good luck

Well I agree with Hectate that is should start on the trunk, and I agree that having the vaccine her chances of getting aren't as much, but it is definitely going around London right now.
