    Default Sleep

Well I don't post very often, but I just had to post this. I slept a whole 7 hours at once last night!!! My 4 month old slept from 8pm to 7:15 am!!! Needless to say I checked her a couple of times, kind of worried. She slept for about 8-12 hours for about 2 or 3 weeks, but during that time my 2 year old was up 3 or 4 times a night. Last night no one cried, no one wanted fed, nothing! I figure I'll probably crash and burn this afternoon, my body doesn't know how to survive on anything more than 2-3 hours of sleep at a time! Not that my 4 month old is bad, but she was still getting up about twice a night and then an early morning. She just got 2 teeth in so maybe thats why she was still getting up and now she's done teething for now. Who knows, I'm just going to enjoy.

No question here, just want to share the happy moment!

Ooooh, that is nice! I just started getting to sleep through the night about a month ago - and my daughter will be 15 months this week. Good for you. I understand your joy. ;-D

P.S. - Congratulations! Are you enjoying getting to dress up a baby girl???

Dressing a little girl is fun! We just went on a shopping spree on Thursday since I don't really have any cold weather clothes for her. Now I have a basket full of pink and purple stuff!! Still need more pants/tops so we'll check back again at TLC and Once Upon a Child, but there are just so many cute clothes for little girls! There were for boys too, but not as much and lets face it, not quite as cute as fluffy pink hearts! I'm trying not to get too excited about the sleeping through the night, because as soon as I get used to it she'll probably start to get more teeth or something and the sleep will end!

Congrats! It's sooo nice when it comes as a surprise - and normally you don't sleep anyways thinking they are going to wake up at any moment! Enjoy!

YAY! It is such a great feeling when we get to finally sleep all night!!!

Have you considered the possibilities that:
    (a) You're dreaming (you've only been asleep for 15 mins and both your kids are about to snap you out of it)
    (b) You've drifted into the Twilight Zone?

Congratulations! I hope this is the beginning of many sleep filled nights for you. Our 5 month old looked to be turning that way a month or so ago, but alas, it wasn't meant to be
