Default Creepiest Ultrasound Picture (My 20 week pictures!)

I love how some ultrasound pictures make the baby look adorable. Mine looks like I am carrying an alien.

Here's the cute one, a little foot!

And here is my baby's face (sideways)

I think its an amazing shot of the head! That is so clear! Ok, so its a little on the Skeletor side, but I think its neat. Mine all ended up looking like clowns.

You must have had an active little guy! I am not the best for seeing outright what the images are (i.e. if foot wasn't written I would have had no clue - the face shot is more obvious) but I can see what you are saying based on the angle they snapped the pic from! You must have had a slow clicking tech! At least you found out what you were having! Are you doing a 3D u/s too?

My 12 week ultrasound was amazingly clear. I had it done at the hospital. A few friends had it done there and theirs came out nothing like mine!

Apparently it wasn't enough though! She was only able to get a front view of the face, and they need a side view. I have to go back for another ultrasound JUST for the side profile.

I had a hard time making out a lot of shots. We were able to tell the gender at the very end.
I am thinking of doing the 3D, I just can't justify the $175 right now. Someone said they got one for $100 though, so I might do it if I can find it cheaper!

If you tilt your head to the left you will see the face right side up. The top of the head is almost touching the left side of the picture.

if you think about the whole deal about pregnancy is pretty alien. Carrying this little thing around in your belly, and getting all bublus and round.

    They're great shots though!

    Wow…such clear pictures!
I have to admit, I was a little freaked by my first US pics too. I remember thinking that she looked like a little alien in there.

Great shots! I have pics like those of my kidlets too. It was when the technician was trying to get the foot that DH saw the sex of our second child.

I agree! Feeling kicks is the weirdest part so far too. It's just surreal to think there is actually a living person inside me... insanity! lol.

hahah! i love it! it really does have a skeletor feel to it like mamarazzi said.

just curious, why do they need a side view?

I have no idea! Maybe to check the size of the head? It sounded really important, because that is the only reason that I have to go back. She even made me go to the bathroom and walk around a little to see if that would move him.

Hm. Good idea. Either way it's another chance to see the little kick monster.
