Default Tomorrow is my first night away from M! **Post 10 is how my night went

My biggest concern is going to be M and his lack of boob. If I'm not around he doesn't want milk. When Mr.PC puts him to bed at night he snuggles in and gets rocked to sleep.

I know he'll be fine and won't suddenly wean going about 30 hours without nursing.

Should I make sure that he's offered some milk even if it doesn't get used? I have some bags in there from Sept (yikes!) so they're probably not going to be good for much longer.

I am looking forward to this!! I'll drown my thoughts of home in good food and bad karaoke singing. My BFF has chosen karaoke as her weapon of choice to deal with her 30th. She loves it.

    Enjoy your night out!

I know it's easier said than done, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. I doubt he'll just stop wanting it over night.

September milk is still good!!!! The rule of thumb is 6 months. So you're good to go! Personally, I'd get DH to feed DC some milk in a bottle before bed time.. But I'd also make sure he knows to do what he feels comfotable doing and what he thinks will work!.

    Have a blast PC!!!

I plan on enjoying every babyfree minute!!

I know boy the men will be fine. It's just his lack of milk. I've already talked to Mr.PC about it so we'll see how it goes. M signs “milk“ now so we'll see if he asks!

PC is one happy cat right now.

As I figured, M didn't drink much of the milk I thawed. He seems to only want his milk from the source. haha! The guys had a great time together!!

The restaurant we went to was not my style at all. I spent 4.5 hours (yes you read that right) watching everyone eat disgusting stuff and trying not to dry heave at the smell. Let me tell you it was tricky when the tongue sandwich was served.

But wait! The night got “better“. While we were in our karaoke room, I decided I was going to be brave and pump in front of people. I got out my pump and started to put it together and realized I FORGOT A PART! I'm in pain from being so engorged and had to hand express in the sink of a seedy bathroom with my bff guarding the door. Once back at her bf's place, I spend another 30min expressing over the sink at 3am.

We had a nice breakfast and I didnt make it on the 230p bus home - the line was frigging long. If I didnt stop at the washroom I would have made it. The overflowing toilet was a nice touch.

I ended up buying a pump which cost me $65 + tax. I pumped 3 oz and that was just to ease up on the pain!

I love my best friend to death, we've been friends for 20 years but this was the worst night I've even had to endure. It was worth it just to see how happy she was.

Awh, that's awful that your night didn't go as planned. I've been there though...hand pumping at 3am into a sink lol. Hopefully the next time around will be enough to make up for last night!

Aww PC! Sorry you had such a crappy time. Where the heck did they serve a tongue sandwich?! I need to know, so that i don't go there.. EVER!

The pain of not pumping is sooo sucky eh?

Hopefully next time you plan a night out you'll enjoy yourself a little more.. But at least you got to make your friend smile! What a nice feeling!

Wow. Sounds like quite a night. I'm glad you got to see your friend and make her so happy though.

When A went into the hospital for the switch to formula I forgot a pump part and had to hand express into a sink as well, it sucks!

It's called “The Black Hoof“. It's a charcuterie. Apparently it's a top spot in toronto. No thank you.
