Default Don't forget those consignment shops!

For all looking for winter gear for their LO's figured I would remind everyone to check their local consignment store. I just scored huge! Bought a Columbia snow suit, winter boots, rain boots, thick lined pants, hats mitts and scarves all for $40. All in excellent condition.

Very happy! totally saved some cash!

Yep and the boots are those KangaRoos, ski boots, really warm, match the snow suit (must have been brought in by the same person), the rain boots are carters with handles, the pants are Osh Gosh. All look never worn, except the boots, a scuff or two on the toes, but still in good condition.

Awesome... I though I did pretty good getting DD 2 dresses for next summer and a pair of runners for $8 a few days ago at talize. I think I need to start going to your consignment store.

That is a great score! I've never bought clothes at a consignment store. There's none near us and unfortunately it is just too hit and miss for me to drive across the city to visit one. I have been to OUAC a few times, but never found anything.

I live in Waterloo, so the one I went to is here. I wouldn't say its always such a huge score (and actually $18 for a used snow suit, doesn't seem overly amazing to me, but over all the haul was good), I was just reminding ppl to try the used stores before buying new , just in case they find a good deal . You never know.
