    Default baby knit hats

My grandma has offered to do some knitting for this baby, and I would really like to have a few knit hats - specifically, I am looking for fruits and vegetables (ie, an apple, pumpkin, pea pod). I'm not a knitter myself, so I am wondering if anyone has seen patterns for these types of hats anywhere?
    TIA!

My mom buys lots of patterns for crocheting at:
    -Michaels
    -walmart
-a yarn place on Hyde Park road
    -Lens mill

    Perhaps one of these places?

They have an apple and a pumpkin one. I'm going to try my hand at the apple one once my little one allows me to get out of the house to purchase some red yarn :P

I also found this one really cute:

...Though I also am a little confused as to what to do on row 14... I will try it once I'm done making an additional apple hat for my niece.

I know this is an old thread but I found it looking for something else. I just bought the book Itty Bitty Hats by Susan B. Anderson (at Chapters). There are some adorable baby hats in it.

I know it is an old thread too, but since your revived it :P

This is a hat I knitted my niece for halloween (I'm still a new knitter so it isn't anything fancy)

Bun that turned out great! I was thinking of making the same one. Where'd you find the orange yarn?

I picked up the orange yarn at Walmart - it was red heart soft yarn in "tangerine" I believe. I wanted a bit more of a mellow orange then a lot of the other orange yarns I saw and this one felt fairly soft to boot.
