Default silver as a natural antibiotic

My little one was bitten by a cat - she is on antibiotics but not tolerating them well (power puking) and her hand is very warm and red.

I was at a health food store today to pick up some children probiotics and colloidial (sic) silver was recommended as an oral and topical treatment - I didn't buy it as I had never heard of it but just finished reading the phamphlet she provided it sounds good - anyone have experience using this stuff

Lots. It's my favourite route to take even before oil of oregano.

I know more then one person who when they get a bladder infection thats all they take and then by lab test follow up it is gone.

My brother in law started having a sore throat and I told him to take some and he said nothing ever works for him and that did.

I have lots of experience with it.

I have just learned about this and it looks like an excellent alternative. My friend uses it on a regular basis.

I too have heard good things about it. However as with any remedy everything in moderation!!!

I was buying band aids the other day and I saw a package that had silver in the pad to help heal cuts faster.

I have drank enough silver I can assure you that you have to drink a shitload for that to happen.

Actually I have an article of that guy somewhere saying how much he drinks and it's in crazy huge amounts, I'll try to find it and he still keeps drinking it.

Some ppl have reversed their Argyria I can't recall the treatments used to do so off the top of my head.

Oh not only that but that is super huge unlikely to happen if you buy or make good quality silver. To use tap water, good chance that will happen, to use distilled water next to none IMO, based on what I have researched on it.

I have used it for a sore throat for me and DD. Silver used to be used in sterile dressings - not sure if it still is.

Never thought of some of the other uses listed here - good to know.

I do hope LO's hand gets better. Cat bites are nasty and can get extremely infected. warm salt water soaks may be helpful too.

I am always hesitant to use anything that claims to be a cure all.

But I have seen it used in environmentally friendly cleaners before, and some at home washing machines have silver setting which is supposed to destroy bacteria.

Colloidal Silver Forum - Natural Healing Solutions, Page 57, :

Not that I would say I agree with everything that is posted on these forums -
I don't but it's ppl who use it in real life and their experiences with it, questions, concerns etc. ...

Yep silver is still used in dressings and it is an awsome way to get rid of bacteria and other icky germs. Also absorbs odour if you have an icky puss wound etc.
