    Default Need a Recipe

So I want to make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies to take to the firehall and hospital as thanks (1000 days of kindness!!). Soooo, anyone got a really yummy and easy recipe for me? I have a good regular choco chip but thought oatmeal would be even yummier and give that illusion of healthyness!

When I worked back in the day, the one lady passed on allot of her recipies and she was known to be an awsome cook. These cookies always go over great. I use hershey milk chocolate chips, not the dark chocolate.

    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 granulated sugar
    1/2 brown sugar
    1 lg egg
    1/2 tsp vinegar
    1/2 tsp vanillia
    -------------------------------------------

Mix 1st 6 ingredients in a bowl and beat well

    -------------------------------------

    1 1/4 cup rolled oats
    1 cup all purpose flour
    1/2 tsp baking soda

    -----------------------------

mix in oats, flour and soda. Add choc chips.

Bake 350 degrees for 8-10 mins.

Trust me on this recipie they are awsome!!

He's a guy on the UFC show trying to win so he can fight in the UFC. If you go to You tube you can see many of his street fights. He got famous from being on the net and the UFC said for him to fight for them he has to earn his way on through winning in his catagory on the show.

So it's going to be a huge fight tonight as he has to win to continue on the show for a chance to win.

The fight is going to be closer to 11 though, I got mixed up, I don't usually watch the show with Dh anymore, but I like and know Kimbo from Dh showing me fights before he was super well known so I am really hoping he wins.

The show is on right now though so I am going to go watch it as I was geared up to go hang out with Dh down there anyway. It's on Spike T.v, if you like MMA fighing it's hopefully going to be a good one.

Ok, now I know who you're talking about, dh was telling me the other night he was surprised he was allowed on UFC because there were allegations of him throwing a fight for money. Yes, dh watches UFC so sometimes I hang out and see it too.

If you're still looking for a recipe, I have one called Trail Side Oatmeal cookies. Has peanut butter, oatmeal, chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips in them. Soooooo good.
If you're interested, I can dig it out!

I thought about it, but was too embarrassed to ask to take pictures, and I knew ds would be too shy.

sorry, I guess I was too lazy to look! These ones were great and I'm thinking the Emerg staff and firemen probably loved them as much as I did.
