    Default feeling sick, help please!

    Ive been sick for over a week with an ear infection / sinus infection. the antibiotic im on are making my stomach weak(one of the mentioned side effects), i get sick at least once a day, can barily eat, food doesn't taste right to me .ect and im now getting very annoyed.

    I've tried gravol and thats not helping at all. Is there anything else you ladies can reccomend to help my poor tummy?

    Try to eat before you take the pill. I usually do ok with a banana or yogurt
    moving sucks

    ive tried but it just comes back up. i can't eat anything before or after taking it which really sucks as i have to take this stuff 4 times a day.

    its possible it isn't the correct antibiotic. I would go back in and ask to what the DR thinks. :S

    anything sour helps me keep it down....

    also what about 'motion sickness' bands....? not sure how they work but maybe it's worth a shot...?

    Ginger tea or ginger root capsules might work. I'm not sure if they'll affect the antibiotic or not though.

    Hmm....for about 2 years I was getting strep throat infections every 6 weeks on average. During one of them my ear drum ruptured!!!
    Wasn't getting anywhere with regular doctors....went to a naturopath. She gave me oil of oregano. If I even feel a twinge of a sore throat, I take it....have only had one sore throat in the last 6 months and that one went away in 3 days taking the oil of oregano......no upset tummies here!
