Today my DD2 made the hard c sound (as in cat) all by herself. For a very long time she was unable to make it no matter what. Then for a while she's been able to make it if I use a tongue depressor to place her tongue correctly. Today she did it for the first time by herself. She's just over 4 yrs old.
It means she will be able to say her sister's name for the first time ever.

Today my girl was able to stay calm in a fight with her sister and ignored little sister's goading. It was fabulous!
A funny one: She fell behind during a walk with daddy yesterday and then was running to catch up and shouts “I'm not built for this! I want a car!“ LOL (It's from Disney's The Wild).

While I was laying on the couch, DS asked “are you okay“.
Many reasons this is exciting:
-he asked a question
-he used more than one word
-he used the words correctly
-he initiated a “conversation“
-he noticed someone else's behaviour and commented.
Individual speech therapy is making a big differences in his communication!

Matthew thrives at merrymount, and always has a wonderful time, never wants to leave.
When I picked him up to leave, he didn't have a meltdown over missing snack time.

DS started Grade 4 today. He repeated grade 1, and it hasn't been a smooth ride, but it's crazy to think that he is in grade 4 now!

YAY for everyone! It's so exciting, isn't it?
We went camping for the first time since DS was 2 yrs old (6 yrs ago) and DS did AMAZING! DH did make a swing that we could take along, but it really went rather smoothly. We considered (and paid for) another night - but by this morning DS was signing ALL DONE, HOME, and asking for a van ride! We left at 2pm.

I like this idea!
Just a couple to mention right now. DS seems to be doing so well with progress lately and keeping us really proud of him.
He's learned to stack rings back onto his toy. (Even grabbed for the colour I suggested once.) He is able to put a ball into a hole not much larger than it (his grip and hand movements are not the same as say mine would be so it is harder for him). He is able to take stuff out of a container and put them back.
