    Default When to start packing?

I'm moving in about a month. Should I like already be packing?
We don't have a lot of stuff but there is a whole ton of old baby clothes and stuff we need to go through

I would be packing up all the things that are not used on a regular basis. Then again we started packing 4 months before we had to move. We did a couple of boxes every night rather than have to rush and not pack things well.

We started going through our stuff as soon as we event thought about moving. It is a good idea to get a bit done early. You never know what will happen in the next few weeks. I always get my kitchen down to the basics. I also use this time to purge all the part bottles of things we either need to use up or no longer use (bathroom/kitchen). I would also stock pile boxes early!

Yep!! Start packing now.. except for clothes you wear often (this season), toilettries and kitchen stuff you use on an every day basis. Just make sure you label everything really well.. like.. what room it goes to and the general idea of whats in the box.

    GOOD LUCK MOVING!!

Start packing now. It's a lot easier to do a couple boxes here and there when you feel like than to be rushed the week before. Things end up getting mislabled and not packed properly.

same advice here, pack out of season stuff away, spring/ summer clothes, extra linens. use up items that you have new of (cleaning supplies) and then clear a room to store until your ready to move. try to stick with uniform sized boxes as well. makes it easier to fit everything easily in the truck. wrap breakables in t-towels and such. tape drawers/doors shut when moving too...prevents furniture from being damaged.

i would start packing now as well.. we packed as much as we could that wasnt an everyday use... it was so much nicer in the end to not have so much to do... i would start going through things anyways...we pretty much had everything off walls and shelves right away...

Definitely start. At the very least start to purge! Rid yourself of things taking up space that you don't use. There is no point moving things just to get rid of them after you move. I've been doing it and I don't even know when I'm moving!

We threw away a bunch of stuff today. DH cleaned off our balcony and I packed up all the old baby stuff. But now my living room is full of junk.
Thanks for all the advice ladies!
