Aw that's gotta be hard for you. Is it something they can outgrow? Are the symptoms manageable?

R is pretty good. The only time he needs his steriod inhaler and ventolin is when we notice a cold comming. Then we start his steroid inhaler twice a day. And Ventolin as needed. If its going to really humid out for a few days I've been told to give him the steroid inhailer. The thing about it thou is it takes a few days to really take affect. So I have to watch the weather channel. His ventolin goes every where with me. (Cause I take mine too)
Aidan on the other hand is not managed well at all. We ahve been dealing with this for almost four months! He needs his steriod inhaler EVERY DAY..I didnt give it to him today or tomorrow cause it we want the hospital DR to hear his chest. However I have his ventolin on hand and the car seat ready incase we need to goto emerg.
I hope they grow out of it, but I have my doubts.

Is ventolin the same as salbutamol? That's what I have but it's for allergies.
