How would you handle it

Okay so the kids are out back. I can see them just fine and hear them too which leads me to my question. they are out there playing and bickering and yelling etc.... should I just leave them be or bring them in? If I can hear them then maybe the neighbours can too? Of course if I bring them in they well be bickering etc.... right next to me. I have asked them to tone it down some at least twice, I really don't want to have to send them to their rooms but my third time talking with them often means they have used up all their chances and now a time out is in order. Ack!!

I hear ya on that one, mine were at it this morning. I let then have a couple of chances, and then they stopped. thankfully. I think during the day, people expect kids to be a little loud. I know I can hear the neighbourhood kids bickering all the time.

I agree with Amy. Leave them outside to argue it out.

There have been days this summer when I make my 4 oldest kids sit in the recroom with the door shut and figure out why they are all being so rude to each other lol After about an hour it is amazing to hear them all getting along again. Sometimes they just need to argue a bit.

I would leave them. I used to have this same worry untill I was talking to one of my older neighbours and apologizing to her about my noisey kids and she told me she loves to hear them yelling outside and just being outside instead of being inside.
