    Default coffee

I stopped drinking coffee about 4 months ago. I am very sensitive to caffiene and try not to consume much anymore--although I do have the odd chocolate something.
Anyway, I miss having a cup of coffee and I'm wondering if I could start drinking decaf? Does it taste/smell the same? I've heard that even decaf has some caffiene in it though--is that true?

The average cup of coffee has caffiene between 35-40
    Decaf is between 12-25

I cant really notice the difference.

I like Chai tea as a substitute. No idea about the caffeine in it tho!

i had to cut caffeine out completely for several years...just made me way too edgy. but i worked in a cafe during part of that time and it drove me crazy!! lol

if you're really used to regular coffee, you might notice differences in flavour. i notice a difference in taste, but i can quickly adapt to it. i don't mind the difference.

i've always done okay with decaf even though there is a small amount of caffeine in it. i'm sure it's different for everyone though---maybe you could try it out?

i like chai tea too!! and i've started drinking rooibos tea on occasion as well because it's caffeine free.

There's the chart for Tim Ho's caffeine content. I've never tried decaf to see if it tastes the same as regular coffee. I am addicted to caffeine and don't deny it one bit.

I like Tim's decaf. I don't notice a huge difference. If you are making the switch, try to find beans that have been naturally decaf'd, not chemically.
