    Default Feeling overwhelmed.

I am feeling very overwhelmed right now, well actually for the past week. Tomorrow is Mavens last day of Daycare and I can cry ( I have been). I love his daycare, its honestly a hidden little Jem here in London. His teachers are amazing !! The ratio is fantastic. I was on the fence for a long time about JK, then I got news that Maven was accepted for the school that I wanted and to boot everyother full day. I will be working the days that hes in school, so I will get to spend more time with him which is fantastic but just worried that he wont achieve as much as he does in Daycare. Maven knows tomorrow is his last day and he couldnt care less, its me. Why do I feel so guilty?? I should feel happy for the money I will be saving, but the guilt is just eating me up.

I hear you! When I took Carter out of his first daycare because he had got into a better one, I felt MAJOR guilt. I felt that was the only daycare he knew, he had friends, he knew his teachers, and so on.

But, kids are resilient. It took him no time at all to make new friends, and adapt.

It is much harder on us, than the kids!

BUT, that being said, it will still be hard in the beginning, for you....

It's always hard to leave the known for the unknown. I'm sure after a couple of days of adjustment (for you more than him!) you'll be excited about JK as well.

    (((HUGS)))
It's a big transitional time for you guys. Try not to feel guilty. Maven is getting the best of both worlds. He gets to go to school and meet friends/learn etc and on his days off he gets to spend them doing fun things with Mommy.

Hugs. I know that I will be in the same position next year when DS1 leaves his amazing Nursery School for JK.
