My youngest is turning two soon too. I remember when a bunch of us were preggo and gave birth in Aug/Sept 2007 - where or where has the time went??
Anyways to answer your Q - I have no idea!! I find it so hard to buy for the second child as we have sooo many toys already.

DD's 2nd birthday party is this weekend...(her birthday was last weekend) and I don't have a whole lot of ideas. I think we're going to get her a doll house as she adores her cousins.

What about a nice tea set or (kitchen set). My DS uses the one I got for my 2nd at Grammies. That's fisher-price. That stuff lasts forever. I love how he pretends to pour a drink and then take a sip. Also, potato head was a hit for our ds.

Thanks for the ideas, everyone! I think an easel might be up her alley, or perhaps a play tent/ball pit.

You could make up a bin full of craft supplies? Little People playsets are popular with my 2 girls. Bath toys are a hit in my house. Puzzles, books or a soccer ball.

I have a 1 and 3 year old and I bought up in age for the 1 year old. I wanted things that both could use for a long time (so still a little old for my 1 year old right now).

Our daughter just turned 2 in March and we bought her a little bike with a baby seat on the back that her little Mickey Mouse sits in and goes for rides with her.

The easle and tents are also a good idea. Keep your eye on Toys R Us sales - their tents go on sale quite often.
