    Default CD burning program

I need a program that burns cd's ie mp3 and pictures etc.

I am hoping someone may have a suggestion for free software that does this...

I used Neroburn in the past but that was on my old computer that is dead and I cant remember where I got it from

If it is just a data CD, and you have windows, you might just be able to right click on the files and “Send To...“ CD/DVD player.

Then looking at that drive letter though explorer. (I got a quick bubble at the bottom telling me that I was going to write files) You can right click on the title and Commit those files to the CD.

That's how I do it, and it's all built into Win NT.

... if you need the files to be in CD format, or a special picture scroll thing... then I can't help ya there.

I personally use Nero as well, but do find it very bloated for what I use it for.

Anyway - Here's some open source software to do the trick
