I have sprouts if you want them, not a whole ton, I will have to see how much is left. I also think quarter masters is a good place to call and lyn dys. I am sure other places too but I would start there.

Nutrition House in Westmount has them, and there is a health food store in White Oaks that also has it - both are in capsule form. I think there is another health store near the Oakridge Real Canadian Superstore that also carries them.

It took me a while to find them too! I got capsules at a store at Masonville near the movie theatre - in the same aisle as the chocolate place (with the candied apples in the window). I think it was Nutrition House.

Fenugreek sprouts are regular fare in North Indian cuisine, and are used in everything from paratha stuffing, to curries and more. The seeds are also used as a whole spice. So of course if you want seeds, any Asian or Indian food store should have them.

Since you put this in the breastfeeding support section and not cooking, I am guessing you would like to take them to increase milk supply. Do you want some help with that? I might be able to help.

I just sprout them for a few days and eat them. They are not the best tasting, kind of maple syrupy or something. They kind of leave an aftertaste too. I would try the pills first but if you want my sprouts their yours, I sent you which part of town I live.

Yes, that is what I am looking to do. I'm not sure if it's just me being paranoid about supply or what, but with my first child, I don't think my supply was enough. Now with my second child, I am worried that the same thing will happen. So I figured that it wouldn't hurt to take fenugreek.

We carry Motherlove more milk blends. I would really recommend adding Blessed Thistle along with the fenugreek.
