    Default Wish me luck cause....

I have NEVER worked out before and today is my first session! 60 mins seems like a LONG time!
I have exercised before but never used the machines or gone to a gym -- have always been too self concious to do so. So I am excited (let's get some of this weight off!) but super nervous to!
If I don't go into cardiac arrest (LOL) will come back to update on my first day!

    Good luck!

60 min seems like a long time, but eventually you'll get used to it . You'll be sore in a day or two, but that will get better too. Have fun today!

Did you find a trainer? Are you going to a gym?

Virginia and Leslie posted on here a while back about a study at Western that is trying to introduce exercise to post partum women for those women that either smoked while pregnant or smoked before and quit when pregnant (me). They find most woman go back to smoking when they are trying to lose their baby weight (hanging head down in shame) so they provide a workout facility, a personal trainer, likeminded mommy's, child care, and tips on how to go back to being or how to continue to remain smoke free. Still looking for participants if anyone fits that bill.

Don't fit the profile here, but sounds like a great program. And childcare to boot, wow!

Good luck! It really does get easier...hard to believe when all you can think about is passing out, (wheezing and choking along), but it's true.

Just wanted to say thank you ladies for the support! I did not have a cardiac arrest but they started us slow this morning so no long workout either!
