Default Places to give things away

I'm moving and have some items that I may try to get rid of before next but haven't found the time to post her or on kijiji

I could probably drop most of the stuff off at goodwill but are there other places where it would perhaps go more directly to those in need

Items consist primarily of some maternity items and newborn
baby items and some women's clothing and cleaning supplies

Also wondering if anywhere might accept opened food staples, sugar, flour, olive oil etc - maybe somewheres that makes and serves meals for the homeless

Bethesda Centre near the Children's Museum is where I always take my clothes, kid's stuff and small household items. They are always very grateful there.

I didn't know about Bethseda Center at all (thanks for mentioning Leigh) it seems like the perfect place to give items for expecting/new parents. I just called and they seemed very willing to accept anything that I might have - so I think I will take another look through what we have and might be able to part with.

Does anyone know if any of these places or any place really will come and pick donations up? I always have stuff that I want to get rid of, but don't drive. Usually I put it out by the recycling bins at my apartment and people will take it within 10 minutes!
