Default Travel System - how much?

I have this stroller, car seat/carrier and base that are in fantastic condition. It was manufactured in 2003, but has hardly been used, no rips or tears or stains. However, the car seat expires at the end of December 2009. I'm wondering how much to sell the system for or if I should just sell the stroller on its own? I would give it away if someone needed it, but we're sort of in a tight spot financially for the next couple of months and need the cash.

What would you ladies suggest? TIA!!

If it's in perfect condition, I would sell it for half what you paid for

    really?
seeing as it expires ina few months Id either use the carseat myself or sell just the stroller *and destroy the seat*.

Thats what I was thinking. I might offer the car seat but make sure the buyer is aware that it expires at the end of this year.

I really don't think it should be sold for half of what it was bought for though. I mean, its in great condition, but not perfect and the car seat expires so soon.

But I have NO idea what to price the stroller as. I've never really sold anything second hand before.

FYI kijijiers will steal it right from under your nose.
I had a like new system (maybe 7 or 8 motnhs old) system (cost nearly 300 new) that I had to reduce to 90 bucks to sell. it was a complete system and a few years ago.... but still.

I sold my Evenflo travel system back in January. It was manufactured in 2003 and the infant seat was going to expire this december. I asked $15 for the car seat and base or $40 for the stroller and seat together. It was in awesome condition for being through 3 kids, but I knew I'd have a better chance of getting rid of the car seat if I sold it as a combo. Yeah, I could still use the stroller, but I have a sit and stand and that works fine for us. The woman was due in April with her fourth child so she understood that it expired in December and assumed that she would no longer need it by then anyways...she wasn't wanting to spend a fortune.
