Wow am I ever late to this thread!
Anyway, I have a DSD who is 4.5 years old. She is a lovely little girl and the joy to DH's heart. We get to see her EOW and for 2x one week periods in the summer. We have a lot of issues with her other family. I think they would like it best if we just disappeared. But we try our best to not let it show around DSD, and I know from time to time her other family does try as well (By letting DSD add me when playing house, or by telling her that her daddy loves her when he's not around).
Also, we have a DS together who is 8.5 months.
As of right now, DSD doesn't care too much for DS, but hopefully with time they get along better.

I have a DSD who is 8 that we have every Monday, Wed, and EOW. We usually see her more than that though. Also, she has a half sister (same mother, different father) who we used to have as often. But, she is 14 and has her first boyfriend so we don't see her very often anymore. I also have a 5 month old.

Hi Everyone....I have a 23 month old son and a 11 year old step daughter!! I have known my step daughter since she was 5 and it has gotten easier the older she gets. I wouldn't change anything.

How on earth did I miss this?
I'm a 'step-parent' to three wonderful kids. I've been apart of their lives for over two years now and it's been awesome.
