I have a 29 yr old sd ( who's expecting next month) and a 25 yr old ss. I love being a step mom to adult children and had a happy cry the first time my Step Son introduced me to his friend as his step mom!

Hello to all of you Step Mamas! This thread was a Great idea!

I'm am a Proud Mother of 1 dd.. 14 months old now and 1 Step DD who is 7 she comes to visit every other weekend and some full week in the Summer.

I love my Step DD like she's my own! However I have learned that Step-Parenting can be difficult.. I still would never change it for the world!

Glad to have someone to relate to on here!

    Hello,
I'm a step dad of four children. The two girls who are the youngest, 3 year old and 6 year old are full time here, the boys 14 year old and 17 year old are part time here. I have my first biological child due to be born in a few weeks, and I am very excited about that!
My life is full and I feel like a rich man.
I always thought I would have lots of kids, and had thought I would adopt, but I never knew I would be a step parent!
It is an adventure, sometimes stressful, but very rewarding. I'd say the biggest challenge is having the two boys only part time, it is hard to establish daily rhythms with the contrasting weeks.
I am looking forward to sharing and learning on these forums.
