Default 19 weeks: How long was your baby?

Okay - so on my ultrasound pictures it shows that my little girl is 14.7cm long. I was 19 weeks at the time of the ultrasound...

... two people have commented that she's really really big for the timeframe. Could you ladies tell me what your lengths were at 19/20 weeks?

I was never told how long the baby was at any of my (7 with 3 kids) ultrasounds.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but that doesn't seem really big to me.

Here's a link to the website I used while pregnant. According to this site, you are spot on for 19 weeks.

They are usually long by this point in the pregnancy, and use the rest of it to pork up.

Also take into consideration that every tech, will get a different angle during an ultrasound and while your baby may measure that right now, they may have measured completely different had a different tech/ultrasound machine been used These are all guesstimates!

And the #1 reason why you shouldnt be concerned : ALL BABIES ARE DIFFERENT!

I have never been told a measurment at that stage either so I wouldn't worry about it. Congratulations on the little girl though!

We had our ultrasound at 18.5 weeks and our daughter was 16.7cm - I personally am not too worried as a previous poster mentioned - all babies grow at a different rate and every tech and machine is different.

My GP wasn't concerned and I've measured right (fundal height) on for my dates at all my appointments.

The measurement is on the ultrasound pic in the top right hand corner...the measurement was never told to me...I just happen to know a nurse who told me where to find the measurements and showed me where it was located.

18 week ultrasound showed DD at 11.7cm. This baby I cut off that part of the u/s pic. for scrapbooking. But now I am curious. DD caught up though so don't worry.

I agree with PP - better long than chubby! Much easier to squeeze out that way!!!!
