Default Grand Bend's New playground, splash pad, boardwalk is very Impressive!

The three of us went on a little family holiday to Grand Bend last week. We stayed at a relatives cottage. We had a great time. The new waterfront upgrades are very nice. DS is 2 and he loved it.

It is a great place to go for a day trip or even if you are still looking for a reasonable summer getaway you can still rent a cottage up there.(I saw signs with phone #'s) It was nice having the grocery store close by. The one day it rained, so we drove up to Godrich.

The play area and splash pad are located behind the beach house and do not take away from the beach at all. We will be going back for another visit soon.

Yeah, my dad lives in Zurich (very near Grand Bend) and he was telling me about the new kids area and splash pad today. He said they spent about 3 mil on the construction down there by the lake. The boardwalk is supposed to be very good too. I hope to go there next week:

Is it sad that we have a trailer in GB but still haven't been to the splash pad/park? We've been there every weekend since the beginning of May.

We'll probably head there next weekend for some fun.

I hope its not sad! We have a cottage there and haven't been for a good month or two (after opening). We have a private beach area but I can't believe we haven't been to see the new awesome area yet!!! Soon!

We'll be there Saturday morning and probably again on Sunday before lunch if you're going let me know We don't have a beach as our trailer park is on the highway before you hit GB so Jake's only ever been to the beach once or twice! How's that for pathetic lol.
