Have you registered her for any kindergaten rediness classes?
Some OEYC offer them, and some are better then others!
The Ilderton OEYC has a fantastic 6 week class, that is 2 hours, once a week. They do stuff like make a game out of opening lunch containers, undoing buttons, etc. the stuff that parents don't think about, you know? The parents are in a seperate room with a different speaker each week. My son loved it!
They are running another one in the summer, and I'm sure other OEYC have them.

I was just going to say things like buttoning buttons, zippers, being able to get clothing on and off by herself, opening and closing containers. , wiping her nose things like that. Some teachers will not help with any of this stuff . Recognizing her own name, if you want to have her ready educationally then numbers to 20 recognizing letters ( upper case)

I had a link for a site that listed the things kids needed to know before Jk but I can't seem to find it.

    Sardam's recommendations sounds awesome!
Your life is a result of the choices you make, if you don't like your life it's time to start making better choices.

Does anyone know of containers that are best to use for young kids so that they are easy to take off and put on.

I once asked a jk/sk teacher what she expected kids to know coming in. She said she'd love it if they could write their name but recognition is ok. She said no need for numbers/letters since she teaches that.

We start JK 2010 so I guess I should start looking into that stuff.
