    Default Fabric

Just wondering where people go to buy their fabric. I made a blanket for Aden when I was preggo and I'll be making Evalynn one too. Fabricland? Walmart? Somewhere else that I don't know about? Which is the best price?

I like to buy online - but when I need to "feel" and "touch" fabric my favorite place is Lens Mills.

I wanted to make a blanket for my new baby too, something light because he will be born in the summer. I went to Len's Mills on Exeter road. They have a lot of fabric to choose from there. Not sure how they compare to other places when it comes to price though, but I found some really nice fabric on sale! so thats where I recommend

depends on what I'm looking to buy, and how much I'm willing to spend.

Typically, I buy online. I can normally get a better deal even with shipping. But again, depends on the fabric. I go to Lens Mills and Fabricland (they both normally have good sales going on too.)

    Lens Mills, and fabricland.

I also get some fabrics from wazoodle - am going to be placing a large order of bamboo terry and bamboo fleece soon, if anyone is interested in tacking on a few meters.

I don't sew but my mom does. For both, she has made their bedding and bought from Lens Mill. She has also made them some really nice receiving blankets.

You pay for the membership. If you sew alot, the savings will more than pay for the membership. The stamp and save program was extra savings, but has been discontinued.
    Fabricland membership

I am going to pick up a $40 item for my mom. The membership will save $20 right there. I am also buying some stuff for myself.

I've bought linen super cheap online at wazoodle. I mostly go to Fabricland 'cause it's super close to me and I have the membership, but when I am out at Lens Mills, I've been known to grab some of the sale fabric. I also keep an eye out at the goodwill stores for vintage bedsheets - I've got a growing collection!
