    Default paying the agent

I am wondering what I should expect to pay for selling our house. Does the seller pay their agent and the buyers agent? What percentage is standard?

Real estate fees are typically 5-6% of the sale price. Depending on the agent and the services they provide there may be some room for negotiation as well. When you sell your home the fees will be paid by you, the seller upon the close of the home.

The percentage that you pay gets split between the buyers agent and the listing agent. The fees will be taken off the proceeds of the sale by the lawyer upon close and paid out to the listing and buying agent.
