    Default Kylie's Kause

    Hey all,

Since we have all spent some time in the NICU, I thought I would mention an excellent fundrasier that is occuring in early July that supports the London St. Joe's NICU by purchasing Giraffe Beds.... | Kylie's Kause | In Loving Memory Of Kylie Marie McGrail - 6th Annual Walk/Run ~ July 5, 2009.
Some of you may have already heard about this amazing event that is occuring on July 5th.

I would love to get a team together to enter in the walk. If you are interested you can message me or simply go to the website and register yourself, friends, family etc...

I wish that I could as they are from the area where I grew up but I will be too close to my due date and can't do much working.

we'll be going this year we missed it last year. the couple that organizes the walk.....we were 'roomies' in the antenatal unit at st. joe's...and my son was in the NICU for 2 months.

it's an incredible event that they've organized....i believe over 500 people last year....in a tiny little town. it's amazing

i'd love to meet anyone from here who goes to the walk this year!! i find it a very emotional event...even 4 years later.

We'll probably be going (DH, DS and me), we'll likely decide on Saturday. Hope to see you you all there. Anyone have a LM bag/pin?

I am so disappointed that we can't go this year This will be 2 years in a row that we've missed.

I have strep throat and felt like we shouldn't travel to go to the walk because we'd be staying with family and I wouldn't want to pass it on to anyone

I hope it's a great day tomorrow....it's so nice this weekend so far. Every year we've gone before it's been SO HOT. But this year seems just perfect.

Have a wonderful time...it is an amazing event that they organize. When they do the photo of all the kids who are NICU “grads“ I cry every time. I so wish we were going!

It's a particular kind of incubator ...very high quality,...that they use. When our son was there I think they only had 2 of them, but they want as many as they can get.
