    Default Numbness in legs

I am not sure why, so I thought I would ask you lovely ladies because you always seem to know. I have been having some numbness in my legs latley. Just like when I am having my period and I get back cramps and the front/top of my legs start to go a little numb. Not to the point that I can't walk or anything just a little weird feeling. Does anyone else get this or anyone that has got this? Do you know what it may be from. I am not to worried about it but thought I would ask.

OO also, totally not related but during my second ultrasound they said that the placenta was on the outside of my stomach and latley I have been having severe pain there and was wondering if I should be getting that looked at. It hurts to laugh and sometimes it just hurts no matter what I do. hmm the more I think about it, I think I should probably bring it up at my next appointment, if she lets me...cough cough...lol

Not sure about the placenta thing, but I have a large area on my thigh that goes numb if I'm walking or standing too much. My chiropractor said that there is a ligament that crosses a nerve in the front of the hip and it can pinch the nerve when you're pregnant some times, the bigger your abdomen gets. He suggested doing lunge stretches to help avoid it.

I also have an anterior placenta. I get random pains but not all over pains, more issolated in a certain area. I asked my midwife about it last time I was there and she said most likely it is just the baby pushing on an area/ stretching.

Numbness..... the baby is probably sitting on a vein and when you sit in a certain position the baby is cutting off the circulation. That's my guess?

I would get any kind of numbness checked out by your physician or health care provider. Likely just circulatory or nervous in nature due to the baby but better safe than sorry.

it does sound like a nerve is pinched, I would only be really concerned if it affects your walking, or needing to use the bathroom.

thanks everyone...I have an appointment next week with my OBGYN but who knows if she will have time for me to ask questions (eye roll). If I can't get any answers from her I will go see my family doctor. The pain in my tummy is a sharp pain, I first thought it was from my belly button piercing, hence why I took it out, but its not going away so that is why I am thinking it may be the placenta placement.
