Okay this is what I get for using the “New Posts“ feature.

Clicked on this one and had a moment of panic: Why the hell is everyone buying stuff for their moms today??!!!

Met DH for breakfast this morning (he's working), then hit up a few yard sales, came home and washed/played with our new treasures. Now DD is napping and DS is playing - once DD wakes up, we're probably going to head to Sunfest, then Chapters.

SO is out doing groceries, Nolan is napping, and Markus is talking my ear off. I think when Nolan wakes up, we might go down to Sunfest and check it out, we'll take a picnic too as we are dirt poor at the moment.

Is it wrong that I'm a little relieved it's clouding over again because I don't feel up to the splash pad? I feel like such a terrible mother. I really just want to sit in a rocking chair and read a book. But I'm serious, if anyone wants to hang out, holler, I will try to motivate myself. (daddy is dropping ds2 off at a friend's and ds1 is largely independent, so I'd just have a 5 yo girl.)

Sounds about our speed today, Zoo.

Was supposed to be at a picnic ... cancelled b/c it would have taken 45 minutes and I wasn't going to pack up the car just to turn around if thunderstorms hit.

But really, I just didn't feel up to going, anyway. Dd and I had a nap at 9 a.m. ... slept till 11:30 and I'm still in my pjs at 2 p.m. I've been trying to get motivated to vaccuum; it's not happening. Dd is happily watching her “Bewitched“ dvds and dressing/undressing her army of Barbies.

Lounging on the couch, same as I've been doing for the past month. DH is out at the library with the boys, so I really ought to be taking the opportunity to go have a nap or something.

Yep, that's right: I'm a barrel of excitement.

under 3 soccer was rained out this morning, then shopping at an electrical store, then bugging uncle b at his work, then sunfest, and now home trying to type as toddler squishes my face and says you such a cutie pie
Stop thinking you’re not ready. – Nobody ever feels 100% ready when an opportunity arises. Because most great opportunities in life force us to grow beyond our comfort zones, which means we won’t feel totally comfortable at first.

Currently here with 2 of SPies kids, they are playing games and actually getting along with mine - even though the age difference is working though..
Trying to get dishes done and laundry folded, beds made and figuring out how to get 4 kids out to supper by myself ..
(haven't done it before LOL so don't laugh) DH is going to bed after he gets home from class so he can work tonight on midnites - oh joy

family went out grocery shopping together, then took dd to mc donalds for a special lunch, she has slept in her own room for a week straight. then we went to talize - they had nothing, but we found a liquidation world on oxford and ended up getting dd a brand new leapster 2 for $20!!! It was the only one there reg. 80 but they had 75% off on the toys. Now just chillin' in the backyard waiting for hubby to bbq some sausages for dinner!
