I too have to wait longer than expected for my next ultrasound. I was hoping for an ultrasound to determine the sex of the baby in the second to third week in March. They say you can find out the sex between 16 and 20 weeks. I really wanted to find out what I'm having before the Mom to mom sale on the 27th so that I could purchase based on what I'm having. If I find out I'm having a boy, I will need a bunch of boy clothes. Unfortunately my midwife says they like to wait until 20-22 weeks (I remember with dd that I was 20 wks), b/c sometimes if you do it earlier the placenta is low or something, then you have to go back for another u/s. I'm a little disappointed at that, but what can you do?

My ultra sound is March 18th. I undecided if I'm going to find out. Dh still really doesn't want to, and I don't think I do, but it is tempting. I think it will be a last minute decision.

I think if it's another boy we won't share. LOL

I can't decide if I want to find out. DH wants to, but we didn't with the first two and it was nice. Leigh I was thinking the same as you, if it's another boy (already have 2) I'd be less tempted to tell people. I have until March 17th to decide.

The third boy we told as well, and were met with such disapointment that it was unbelieveable!

Even *if* it's a girl, Im not sure we'll tell. But if it IS a girl, I'll certainly have a hard time containing that excitement. lol

We'll be finding out the sexes of our little ones! When we were expecting Madeline, we already had 2 of each and really didn't feel the need to be surprised. Same goes this time around. I don't regret it one bit.

Hi!

Doc's appointment update. I'm measuring 20 weeks, and I'm only 16+1. Heartbeat was good (could only find one) and weight was great, less than 1kg in 3 weeks. Considering I'm already fluffy, I feel it's important I don't eat my way through...lol. My most exciting news is that I've booked my ultrasound for the 26th! I'm so pumped! I have so many projects I want to get started on and I'm waiting to find out before I make final plans.

I'm feeling wonderful (although huge), my energy is returning, which is good, because business is beginning to pick up and I need to keep up!

Any other updates??

I had my midwife appt. yesterday too. The boys love going and always get to take turns, one puts the gel on, and the other gets to find the baby with the doppler.
I can't wait for my ultrasound next week. I think the boys will really enjoy it too. My oldest understand about the baby more less, but my almost 3 year old I don't think really understands so it will be fun.

my 3 yr old kind of understands because of Noah.. but not really all at the same time. its kind of amusing to listen to him talk. lol
I dont bring them to appointments- they make it way to stressful to concentrate on what I want to say, and to listen to my midwives. lol
Who are your midwives Sardam?

I go to Stratford Midwives. They've been great there for all of them.
I don't really have an option to bring the kids. Dh won't take 2 hours off work (drive there, appt. and back) and my parents are already looking after the boys twice this week, not that they mind, but I feel bad. And I don't have anyone else reliable. My mil is hit or miss, and my sil, well I won't get started with her!

Welcome out in the boonies!

That was quick Leigh. Are you finding out for sure? That isn't fair if we are due the same day, have our ultra sounds the same day, but you get ot know the gender! You are making this even more tempting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
