Run down of dates: Well I went through the threads and the August club is:
Leigh - Aug 10
Sardam - no due date posted
Michelleshere - Aug 25?
Spots - middle of Aug? based on your ticker?
NicChick - Aug 25
Leigh - I really hope you are feeling better soon. Nothing worse than being really sick when you are pregnant. I have a head cold, but don't think it is anything compared to what you have - so I definitely won't complain.

Thanks for the update! I'm officially in the August club, but with multiples the chances of me delivering in July are high. I like it here, I'll hang for a bit

I'm the 10th with Leigh
Knock on wood I'm feeling much better this week then I have for the past while. I'm still tired, but that is from having a sick baby that was up all night 4 nights in a row. The nausea is mostly gone, but I still have no appetite.

I had a long chat with a MoM (twins) born August last year. The babies are 5 months, and it was very encouraging to hear from someone on the other side. It put things into better perspective for me.
I had my first Prenatal appointment on Wednesday. It was not pleasent, I am very unimpressed with the NP who cared for me. Thankfully I won't have to see her again.
Thanks so much for the recs on Doctors! I'm really hoping to have them in Stratford, vaginally (if possible). I'll be looking for referals in March .

If you are interested about more info the LMBA (London Multiple Births Association) is having an informal New & Expectant Parents Night on February 17th at the Loblaws Masonville at 7pm upstairs in the Community Room. London Multiple Births Association - Twins, Triplets and more for more info.
I remember attending my first meeting there around the same gestation as yourself....it was informative and puts some of your questions/anxieties to rest. There is no pressure to join just more of a question and comment type of meeting. Both yourself and significant other are welcome to attend. Congrats and you will get through it!!

I was excited that my morning (well all day, you know how it goes) sickness has been very minimal for the last week.
Well I seem to have picked-up a stomache bug. Friday and Saturday it was more of an all over flu with a headache, tired, and achy muscles and now since yesterday I'm having a hardtime keeping food in which of course is only adding to my tiredness.
I know I'm only 14 weeks in and shouldn't give up yet, but I'm not enjoying this pregnancy nearly as much as my previous ones. Although my belly is looking very nice I've been having a lot of people ask when I'm due so it is apparently obvious to others not just me

I guess a bit of an update is in order! I'm feeling pretty good, my mental fog is finally lifting, hunger is slowly decreasing, and the tiredness only hits in the evening..like 6pm, rather than all day..
I've had another ultrasound and a Doc appointment in the past 3 weeks, and I have another 2 doc's appointments in the next months. Talk about a managed pregnancy.
My ultrasound was for IPS, and the downs screening came back negative for both. I need to do the second blood draw in 2 weeks to complete the rest of the testing. The wee ones looked lovely, they were kicking about in there and at the end were facing each other. We have designated Twin A and Twin B, and I'm super excited to find out the sexes at the end of March.
The Doc's appointment went as expected, he very quickly suggested I seek medical care with bigger hospital, and I've been refered to Dr. Hancock in Stratford. I have an appointment with him on the 29th of March and I look forward to chatting about my birthing options.
I'm eating better (after 3 weeks and 6lbs of pity party eating) and trying to get some mild exercise in daily, while I still can. We've been doing a lot of planning for the summer months, I really want to take care of the predictable things, because I suspect there will be plenty of unpredictable moments popping up.
Sorry for the novella...
I'm happy to hear you are feeling better Leigh, I hope things settle soon Sardam, it's a rough few months.
Thank so much for the LMA suggestion, my computer was off-line and I missed the meeting..

Glad to hear it is going well Michelleshere. I dealt with Dr. Hancock with my first when problems came up and he was very nice.

Well I guess I should add myself here!!!!
I'm due August 14.. although I really hope I go early or late.. I really wanna be home for my sons birthday.. which happens to fall on the day before I'm due... not liking that much..
I've had a lot of nauseousness but it seems to have been very mild this week and I've actually been able to eat!! I'm also already having a harder time breathing these last few days.. but have been assured its normal.. I just have no clue how I'm going to make it to 40 weeks and continuing to feel like I cant breathe..
But other than that and being tired I'm good.. Savannah is taking it very well and is so excited to be able to feel the baby kicking.. She falls more and more in love with the baby everyday! Aidan on the other hand doesn't seem to care very much and can be very rough on my stomach.. I'm hoping that changes soon!

S&A this baby is due 3 days after my current youngest's 3rd birthday. I too do not want them to share a birthday but if they do oh well.
I had a thyroid ultrasound today (I have a lump and they watch it JIC). I had the nicest ultrasound tech and she showed me the baby, who looks fab! I also had a 12 week ultrasound but now at 17 weeks he/she is so much bigger. You could see the little hand perfectly. 5 fingers on that one at least.
How is everyone else doing now?

Close birthdays seems to be the thing for August. Not me. Well dh's birthday is 2 weeks before, and I would love to go early, but I don't think that is the same as siblings have a close birthday, we don't really celebrate adult birthdays much around here.
I'm feeling well. Only need to nap some days, and my naseau is only around once or twice a week. I'm still having some major food issues which didn't last nearly this long in the past. Very few things are appealing, and I am not a picky eater usually. It has kept my weight gain to a minimum though
