I was thinking about this myself. DD never wants to get changed. Does it become more uncomfortable with cloth? Do you go through more diapers then? Have any of you found them easier to potty train with (for those who have tried both)?

In my experience, no amount of begging, yelling, ignoring, bribing, pleading, discussing, reading books, running around in underwear, using pull-ups, staying in diapers (cloth or disposable), being naked, and all the other things I tried will work unless your child actually wants to be trained.
I couldn't get DS#1 to do ANYTHING on the potty until he was 4 yrs + 3 months (and once he peed on it once, we were done - no accidents ever).

New Diaper question....
What's the best cloth diaper (one size since I don't want to buy 2 sizes for my 2 1/2 year old and my 9 month old) for someone who doesn't want to "learn" how to fold.....basically a good cloth diaper that's convenient....etc.
TIA

Definitely interested in knowing more about all. I never thought I would ever ever consider cloth diapering (dh doesn't like the idea) but it'd save lots of $$$ in the long run.
thanks

I was interested in the Angel Luvz. But I was reading over some of the feedback on ebay and a few people complained that the diapers reeked of smoke. Do you have have some of these already Heather? Did you find them to be smoky smelling when they arrived?

The reviews on Diaper Pin also talk about the packages smelling of smoke. The reviews are pretty mixed. I have a used Angel Luv that I really like, but it's side-snapping, and none of the ones I've seen on her site are, so I wonder if maybe I have an older model. I think you should check out the reviews on Diaper Pin and think about it.

My absolute favourite is the one size mother-ease! LOVE them! My friend has her 1 year old and almost 3 year old in them both! And they fit great!! For Mia who is one they are awesome! No leaks or any complaints!

Do you mean for the Motherease? They are fitted diapers so yeah, you need seperate covers for them. The pockets would for sure be easier, but also more expensive.

I like my fitted Snap-to-Fit (aka Snug-to-fit). You do need a cover for them. But they are Canadian made and should fit infant to PT. My daughter is SKINNY. And they fit nicely around her tiny legs, others tended to be bigger and leaked. They have an attached doubler, but dry just as fast as a Prefold.
As for covers, I have tried Kushies, Bummis Super Snaps, Stretch Wool Stacinators, and handmade wool soakers. I love the wool covers. I am totally sold. They are more expensive, but they don't smell like PEE!! And I have a Super-Pee'er, and she has not soaked throught them once, even at night. It has been only 2 weeks with the new wool, but no problems yet. It did take some getting used to the handwashing and Lanolizing, but I have the hang of it now....
