    Red face serious leg pains

K never had this before is this normal....you know when you go for a very long walk and then like a day or two later you calf muscles hurt, mine hurt really bad at night...i did kinda fall down two stairs on Monday, missed one and slide down the next and landed on my knees, not hard but still a jolt, my legs were a little sore before that....its not really charlie horses more just like i ran a marathon and didn't stretch....if its normal anything i can do to help with the aching so i can sleep, already use a pillow between legs....thanks...

When I had leg pains while pregnant I was told potassium and calcium might be helpfull. I don't like bananas so I upped my milk consumption and it actually worked.

Had this issue in both of my pregnancies and I think it was lack of potassium. I recommend increasing your intake of it. Drink tonnes of water too!

I know you said it is not a charley horse(sp) and I know that is a lack of potassium so I am assuming that it would be the same. But just an FYI if you do get a charley horse the easiest and fastest way to get ride of them is to jump on it. I know it sounds stupid and that it would make it hurt more but it is the best way. It doesn't hurt at all and it instantly goes away. I doubt that is going to help but thought I would try. Good luck

Eat lots of potatoes, and bananas, drink lots of milk, licorice is full of potassium, but is not the best, use it as secondary. If you take calcium tablets make sure they contain magnesium, as the magnesium helps absorb the calcium into your bones. The only time in my life I ever had charleyhorses was while pregnant, but wow you never forget it.
