Default So I finished the Twilight Series...

...and I'm in withdrawal. I need some recommendations on more good books to read. I am very partial to vampire novels and dark fantasy. I've read Anne Rice's books and I'm not into Stephen King's works anymore at all. Twilight was so easy, fun and consuming to read...I need more!

What do my fellow LM's recommend?

I'm not sure if it is anything the same as the Twilight series, but I almost picked up The Host today by Stephanie Meyers. Saw it at Sam's Club. Looks to be more of a body invasion type thing.

Ooooh - I am on a HUGE supernatural kick right now
I highly recommend Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld Series.

The sookie stackhouse books are good =D

I like Kelley Armstrong as well, she's actually going to be doing a book signing at the coles by my place in May...

Oh and J.R Wards' Black Dagger Brotherhood, they are romance..and a smidge raunchy, but really good

Have you tried the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon? A bunch of mamas on this board got me into that and after finishing the last one, I am in withdrawal as well.

It's historical romance/fantasy ... not quite vampirish, but still very engaging!
