Do you or anyone you know provide....

I have a 3 month old and a 4 year old.

I know there are soo many day care providers looking for kids, I am wondering if you or anyone you know take kids for the day not on a perm. full time or part time basis. If I wanted to go somewhere by myself for the day or had appointments...can I drop them off for the day and pay the day or hourly rate?

I don't know anyone or have family close by so I am essentially it....

Hope your having fun at kickboxing. It was nice meeting you. I would be more then willing to help you out. I am home all the time with SO in school. Just dont know where you live and if this is too far for you.

I'm sure a fellow LM could babysit for a day for you. I was suppose to babysit for one the other day and I got sick so I couldn't .

I think you could definitely find people willing to do 'flex care' .... if you are able to book your needs in advance and be flex in return cause often providers who do this are trying to manage it with several families and somene else might beat you to a day you want

You could post an ad in the classifieds 'looking for' with more details and providers looking for spaces to fill often search there everyday but do not necessarily have time to look on the forums

Ya that...

I look after a lot of my friends kids on a drop in basis and have offered to others as well.... Im on the east side near Argyle.

I know the home day care that my son goes to is great. She's been advertising on Kijiji for the odd care, especially with March Break coming up. She's in Old East, not sure where your located or where your looking for? I could talk to her and see if she'd be interested and what she would charge for the odd day or a few hours?
