CC Carrothers Public School?

My DS starts school this September (JK) and I was wondering if anyone has any kids that attend (or have attended) CC Carrothers?

Is it a good school? Do they have split grade classes (not too fond of that)? What type of sports do they offer for older children?

If anyone has any info or advice about this school, please let me know via this thread or pm.

If you want to put your child in french immersion, you can put him in Sk at Princess Elizabeth for the French Immersion program. That is where my son attends and is in SK. You might have to do 1 year at CC Carothers for the Jk though or skip Jk completely and go straight to PE the following year if you are even considering FI.

probably not going to put him in FI, just cause neither dh or I speak french.

still this school zone thing makes no sence... our school is a good 25min walk away (for DS) when PE is maybe 7-10 mins... lol

French Immersion is designed for kids who have no french background, and who don't have parents who speak french....also I'm pretty sure all the kinder. classes are jk/sk splits in the TVDSB.
