    Default Car Accident

UGH! I totally rear-ended someone on the way to school today (8 am). I am NOT having a good day. I am coming off the progesterone, which is NOT fun. I was at the lights near Bresica on Westerns road about 10 cars back and I swore everyone was going. So I took my foot off the break and boom. Stupid Carly. They lady was totally pissed too and yelling. I understand she was upset but not good for Carly's about to cry at any second status today. We swapped our info. I'm alright (I didn't even feel it, just heard it). She's saying she's going to have whip-lash now and was rubbing her head. My mom thinks that is a little fishy though because we had been stopped and I just took my foot off the break. I dunno, thankfully though nothing serious. The cars aren't bad. Nothing on our van and her car just had two little marks/scrapes where the screws from our pate was.

I called the accident reporting center and they said to wait to see if she comes in or not so I guess we shall see? UGH totally shooken up though and can tell that today will not be good. Stupid hormone drop!

So sorry hon. I'd be questioning about the whiplash too, not sure she'd feel it that soon. Heh. Although, I'll tell you, getting hit from someone who was stopped behind you is harsher than it seems. I ended up wearing our entire tray of coffee that was in my lap from a guy taking his foot off the brake behind us. It was VERY jolting. I also agree though, the sound is more alarming than anything. (I didn't get any whiplash or any lasting effects from being hit).

Oh no! I'm so sorry that this happened. It happens to all (or most)of us at some point and it just takes a second for it to happen. I hope that you will be able to relax as the day goes on and that you are feeling better.

Thanks ladies. I don't want to question the injury on her because I'm sure getting hit is much worse (haven't been in a car accident like that before, one side impact as a child). Guess I'll try and get through my day and hope she doesn't report it. I didn't tell her we'd pay for it or anything so that's good.

Sorry that happened! What an awful way to start a day (and a week!) I've re-ended someone before and its really not fun. Sorry this lady was yelling and not making it much better (I do hope she is ok, but the whiplash comment so soon is odd, but not totally impossible). TRY not to worry about it, things happen. Its not worth getting stressed out about. Car accidents SUCK but they happen all the time and at least no one was hurt. It's just a car Carly...take care of yourself and the baby.
Have a good rest of the day!!!

    Ugh, I'm sorry!
I have been hit at full speed from behind and wow. But seriously to yell at the person? First thing after I realized what happened was to ask everyone (4 vehicles) if they were okay.

Aw, that sucks Carly!! No worries though, insurance is no-fault, so even if she does get whip lash, her policy will cover RMT/PT whatever and you'll be fine... if she even goes that far.

    Hope your day gets better!!

Sorry to see how your morning was going. Glad to hear that you are ok though.

I agree with everyone that claming whiplash right off the bat is a little fishy.

Again glad to hear you are ok.

I hope your day gets better. I was rear ended and didn't have any pain initially (adrenaline) I had a sore shoulder for a couple of days. There was a lot of damage to our van.
