Default Some Pics of our Dollhouse

Here are some pics of the dollhouse my husband and I made for our girls for Christmas. It's not quite finished, but we gave it to them anyway. My husband made the "hardwood" floors out of popsicle sticks.

Amazing!!!!! Did you use a kit? Design yourself? How long did it take you?

I had a dollhouse as a kid that my dad made....I think my parents are going to 'renovate' it and give it to dd one year.

Amazing and very creative to make such a beautiful doll house. I like the craftmanship too. I work at Lee Valley Tools so I appreciate router bits, dovetail jigs and so forth.

Thanks everyone. Yes, it was a kit. My mom bought this PC dollhouse kit on clearance almost 10 years ago for her future granddaughter. We've been keeping it in the basement and had always planned on having it done by the time Reese was five because we thought any younger than that she might not really appreciate it. My mom had bought the PC furniture kit too, but they had some more build it yourself dollhouse pieces at Dollarama so we bought some of those too because they were actually cuter. It was crazy time consuming. We spent many hours in the evenings from early October until Dec.23rd trying to finish the thing, but we didn't get the front steps finished, or the flooring on the third level.
