    Default so..the school just called.

    And get this..

Matthew just got bitten during gym class.

    Yep.

I said when I registered him if it wasn't working, that I would pull him. It ain't working. The principal isn't there today, but will be back on monday.

I'm going in on monday, and I'm pretty sure I'll be pulling him.

My kid does NOT need to deal with this shit.

That's horrible. My kid got bit on friday by another HS kid, so it can happen to anyone, though this kid was 1.5 so not so extreme.

Wow. So not looking forward to my kids being school-aged. And your personal rain storm continues. Hang in there.
...and in that moment I swear we were infinite.

I haven't thought that far ahead yet.

But with him being the way he is, this is such to much.

Its really disheartening. He talked about school for a YEAR leading up to him going. Now, he says "I don't want to go to school."

This is beyond the age of biting through lack of communication, imho. That is ridiculous. I expect a two year old to bite, not a four year old. I'd pull my son if he had to deal with the stuff that your little guy has, as well. Poor kiddo

Can you consider a different school for next year? Because he doesn't really have to attend right now, does he?

So sorry that happened to your little guy but honestly, I dont think pulling him out of school is going to make things any better. You are going to come across biters when they are that age.

BOTH of my girls have been bitten when they were around the 12-16 month mark and I was told it is just the age and blah blah blah. Some kids hit, some kids bite.. i dont condone it but unfortunately you are going to get it. I would just talk to the teacher and see if she knows who did it (she probably wont be able to tell you due to some legal reason - at least daycare wasnt able to) and she can just watch it more closely.

Hope your little guy is okay...

ETA: Sorry I didnt realize we were talking about a 4 y/o - that is a bit extreme but hopefully the teacher can get it under control and you wont have to uproot him.

Sad thing is, I wonder how much better another school would be. I know you have had issues not just with other students and Nathan, but with the staff also. I just wonder if you can really find a school anymore that is perfect. That worries me. Your poor little guy- biting is awful!
