Default Trade/Swap Group - See here!

Hi everyone - If you're on Facebook, look up the group "London Area Moms Trade/Swap". Hopefully we can start to re-use and upcycle our items a bit more, and save some money (and the earth!) in the process.

    Cheers!

Well, we can set up swap meets for items. For example, if we wanted to have an adult book swap, we would all come with a box of books that we want to pass on. Books would get placed in the middle. Everyone can go around and choose the books they would like. Anything left over gets donated. Usually the organizer would make a stop at Goodwill or VV or whatever on the way home. Ideally we go in with a theme - ie. it's probably easiest to say "Romance and Romantic Comedy Book Swap" and then everyone comes with similar stuff - which eliminates the possiblility of me inheriting your Calculus 101 textbook :P.

Alternatively, I could post a snowsuit size 2 and say "I am looking to trade this for a snowsuit size 4 OR girls shoes size 8 OR whatever whatever" - you can basically make a list.

Or you can post things for free.

Can I swap my kids for like some chinchillas or something? Chinchillas are, like, fluffy. And quiet. So very very quiet....

    They bite. And have rabies.

I know of a cute cat though...but then again, I'd have to take your children so...forget I said anything.

Don't forget that you can do this here in the new classifieds as well!

I will check out the facebook site as well though, just weren't sure if you knew that about the new classifieds!

I didn't realize that - is this a problem? If so just let me know.

I figured this was easy in that it's all in once place and you can just scroll through the photos rather than sifting through classified listings...

I think I got an invite from someone to join that group, I wonder what kind of responses I'd get if I posted an LF: 3 boys to create the perfect Brady Bunch group. Would that get me responses or arrested?!?!

I have so much to swap, OH MY!
