Yak phone service

Does anyone know anything about "Yak" phone services??

We're looking for a new provider. I don't want something over the internet though.

My Grandma does it over the advise of my Dad (he used to work for Bell and says its a good idea if you are going to use long distance often, like she does)
we are only calling long distance ONCE a month at about a 20 min convo at the most
Apparently, this is a good deal though, I would go with it if we needed it

yes, research may be in order since we only have family in the US but only talk minimally
