    Default car seat checks

DH really wants to have the car seat check done, I am wondering is there anywhere you can go that does it year round? I've only heard of the random ones that get set up.

    Thanks

I want to know this too, I'll be watching this thread!
I have only heard that some mechanics are trained to check, but not mine.

I live in Brantford and here they are run monthly by the Public Health Unit. . . worth a call to check if the same is true there.

I had called buckle up baby and couldnt get through. No one returned my call. The police and fire dept do not do them anymore and ambulance doesnt do them anymore either. Neither do the hospitals... with all the public people who do not do them, its a wonder how anyone can ticket a mom for having it installed improperly... the police issue the tickets they should continue to provide a service of help, since they obviously know what to look for in order to issue a ticket in the first place.

I agree. Why is it so difficult to get someone to help? This is important and how can you ticket someone for not installing it properly when it actually is a tricky and scary thing (since its so important) I often wonder if I am doing it properly and it worries me.
