Default Is it like carpal tunnel?

Last night I woke up with pain on my forearms. On my right side, I have this tension and pain up to my shoulder. Suffice to say, I woke up at 2 am and could not get to bed until 3:30 am. I took a Motrin to think it will ease my pain but it still hurts.

I am a receptionist so I think this could have been work-related but last night I was doing some yoga which I haven't done in a while.

It certainly sucks to have this discomfort and I hope it really goes away. But I wonder if this is how carpal tunnel syndrome feels like? My friend has it and she has to use a wrist brace sometimes.

It could be tennis or golfers elbow (epicondylitis) or possibly even from your neck. A physio assessment could tell
you for sure and give you exercises and treatment to help you feel better.

ETA: Tennis and golfers elbow is inflammation of a tendon in your elbow.

I forgot that it could possible be tennis elbow. I used to get that when I was drumming. It's just been a long time since this aching occured I wondered if I did something due to repetitive activity or perhaps I slept on it funny.
