I am really happy with the service.

Good point - I should have qualified that. Last time I checked lemons and grapefruits didn't grow close to home.

Hello,
I just wondered if they only deliver in London or if they had an out of town service at all? I live outside of London a bit and would love this service.
Thanks so much!

If you go the website www.onthemoveorganics.com they have an interactive map that you can check.

I go with Express Organics since I am outside of the city. I was so excited to find out I could get Organic food delivered to me! In my small town Organic anything is hard to come by!!
I am very happy with Express Organics and am sticking with them (plus, right now there is not another option for out of town delivery)

thanks ladies for posting this, I dont think I otherwise would have known that a service like this was available. I just emailed onthemoveorganics to get more information about getting started.
my question was, is this the only way you get your produce? or do you shop at the grocery store too?
I'm just thinking.. 1 grapegruit in a box? I mean, that would be breakfast for me one morning and that's it..
do you find it's enough? any more information for a 'newbie'?

I would like more info from people who use the OMO, do you find the produce lasts you? I run a home daycare and feel an organic diet but we go through so much fruit and vegs around here with 6 kids plus my DH and I that I need to know I will have enough for the week without having to throw away food that has gone bad.

Do they deliver to apartment buildings? Can you work out how to obtain food from them in a situation as such.
Thanks.

$30 for the standard local box, there is a charge of $5 to customize your box and select exactly what you want from a list (total of items must be $30 before customization fee).
If you are really interested go to their website and email them with your questions. If you ask to be added to their weekly email distribution there is no obligation to order ever week you just respond on the weeks that you want to use the service.

Does the $30 include delivery in London, or is delivery extra depending on the location?

I'm still waiting for my windex to run out, but will be using vinegar and water once it does.
I do have a bottle of natural/organic cleaner -- but half the time I don't use it. I end up cleaning the bathroom with shampoo just cause it's handy.
I did recently switch to a natural dish soap, but found it really dried my hand out - cracked and bleeding - and I had to use a lot for it to cut the grease. So we're back to Dawn. Anyone got a dishsoap suggestion?
And I've been using Express Organics. I'm happy with the service 100% but didn't realize OMO tried to be more local! I will look into that.
We've also been stopping in a McSmiths Farm near St. Thomas. Eggs and veggies so far from there have been good, and cheap.

We wash our dishes (in the dishwasher) with 1 tablespoon of baking soda, and 1 tablespoon of Borax. Vinegar in the rinse aid. Works super! Dishes are always clean.
Lemons and baking soda make a nice scrub for the tub!
I have been washing my face with pure extra virgin olive oil as well. Works AWESOME!
We are now ready to make our first batch of homemade laundry detergent as well.
